Lists change. Somebody withdraws, somebody is added, somebody was on holiday during their slot. A catch-up session photographed against the original written spec drops into the slate without a visible seam — and when the print deadline moves, the whole batch can turn around in twenty-four hours.

What this service delivers
This is the single most common reason clients come back to us rather than to whoever shot the last cycle. A slate that cannot absorb a late change is a slate that has to be reshot, and reshooting four hundred people because one person was replaced in the final fortnight is not a real option for anyone. Because the setup was recorded as a written spec on day one — light height and distance, modifier, power, lens, subject distance, background and exposure — a person photographed six weeks later is photographed against those same numbers and matched to the same colour standard. The catch-up clinic runs in the Sarajevo studio or at a regional stop. If the deadline has already moved, express delivery puts a finished batch back with you inside twenty-four hours.

The smart layer
Nobody can remember a lighting setup accurately after six weeks and eleven venues. The reason a late addition matches is that nobody is being asked to.
The spec is numbers, not notes
Height, distance, power, lens, subject distance, background and exposure recorded as values on day one, and re-set from that sheet for the catch-up session.
Reference frame comparison
The original spec-day frame is opened alongside the first catch-up frame and compared on density and exposure before the session continues.
Matched in the set, not in isolation
The new portrait is colour-matched against the delivered slate rather than graded on its own — the only test that matters is how it looks in the row.

Before you brief.
How late is too late?
For a single catch-up session, we can usually place someone at short notice — principal and small-group sessions are easier to schedule late than slate days. What we will not do is promise a slot in the final week of a campaign period without checking the calendar first, because that week is finite and it books out early.
Will a late addition really match?
If we ran the original spec day, yes — that is what the written spec exists for, and the first catch-up frame is compared against the day-one reference before the session proceeds. If somebody else shot the original slate and left no spec, we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot match before you book.
What does 24-hour express actually cover?
The whole batch through the full pipeline — capture, selection, retouch inside the normal limits, all five crops, naming and the manifest. The review pass is not skipped to hit the clock. It is charged at +40% on the affected batch.

The detector returns a face box and landmarks; each crop is computed from the eye line at a face-to-frame ratio set per output shape, so every format frames the head consistently.
